Cole-Parmer SP-350-NANO Genova Nano Micro-Volume Life Science Spectrophotometer, DNA/RNA/Oligo/Protein

Measure sample volumes as low as 0.5 µL with the Genova Nano spectrophotometer. Low-volume sample helps conserve precious samples, reduces the need for dilutions, and eliminates the requirement for cuvettes.

The versatile Genova Nano spectrophotometer has all the features of a standard spectrophotometer plus features that are dedicated to life science analysis. Preprogrammed methods measure ssDNA, dsDNA, RNA, and oligonucleotide concentrations as well as Pierce 660, Bradford, Lowry, Biuret, and Bicinchoninic Acid (BCA) protein analysis. Measure DNA concentrations and purity ratios using wavelengths recorded at 260, 280 and 230 nm, with an optional correction at 320 nm. As a standard spectrophotometer, measurement modes include photometrics, concentration, multi-wavelength, spectrum scanning, quantitation, and kinetics.

The stainless steel read head with an embedded quartz lens uses the natural surface tension of the droplet to form the bond between the read head surfaces. To clean, simply wipe the read heads with a microfiber cloth to remove all trace of the sample, allowing faster change over between samples and therefore increasing sample throughput.
