All models feature a scratch-resistant stage with integrated X-Y rackless mechanical stage, Vernier scale, and soft-close removable specimen holder. The rackless stage with no protruding parts allows for smooth movements. Safely transport the microscopes using the integrated carrying handles. Store excess cable in the back of the microscope during use and stow away cable during transport and storage. The anti-theft slot lets you secure the microscope in place. Trinocular models feature a photo port with prisms inside the head designed to minimize light absorption for perfect digital imaging. A unique rotating head offers ergonomic positioning of both tubes in a high (431 mm) and low (377 mm) positions. Precise adjustment—1.11 µm, 200 µm per rotation—with total travel range of approximately 19 mm makes it easy to focus on the sample. The adjustable Kohler NeoLED illumination system offers highest possible contrast and the maximum achievable resolving power. By eliminating all interferences from dust on lenses and the side glare of the light source, it generates a uniform illumination of the sample. All S40x and S100x oil immersion objectives are spring loaded. All optics are anti-fungus treated and anti-reflection coated for maximum light throughput.
