The rackless stage with no protruding parts allows for smooth movements. Safely transport the microscopes using the integrated carrying handles. Store excess cable in the back of the microscope during use and stow away cable during transport and storage. The anti-theft slot lets you secure the microscope in place. View living cells in their natural state using a phase contrast microscope. In a phase contrast microscope, small phase shifts in living cells are converted into changes in brightness, which can be observed as differences in image contrast. Microscope comes with a height adjustable Zernike condenser with phase annuli for 10/20/S40x and S100x phase contrast objectives, an iris diaphragm, a swing out filter holder, and a BF position.
