This Hot Plate features an efficient, 900-watt infrared heater that can boil a liter of water over 30% faster than a conventional, 1200-watt ceramic Hot Plate. “Hot” warning light flashes when the plate temperature is above 50 °C and remains lit even when the Hot Plate is turned off. Units feature BioCote antimicrobial protection which reduces the presence of odor and stain causing microbes such as bacteria, mold, and fungi on the product surface by up to 99.99%.
