With a glass ceramic heating plate mounted in a solid block of pure PTFE, this rugged Hot Plate withstands boiling acid solutions and aggressive cleaning agents. The separate analog temperature controller is connected via a 6.5-ft (2-m) PTFE-coated cable, allowing it to be placed away from corrosive environments. Hot warning light flashes when temperature is above 122 °F (50 °C).
