Use the electronic ice bucket to keep your tubes clean and dry while incubating at sub-ambient temperatures for long periods of time. A removable bucket is filled with ceramic-coated beads that can maintain a constant temperature and support the sample tubes. To save time, the bucket of beads can be incubated in the refrigerator overnight and inserted into the unit before use. Reusable beads can be autoclaved at 273°F (134°C). Temperature control ensures all contents in the ice bucket are kept at an even temperature, whether cold or warm. A dark plastic lid helps maintain a constant temperature and protects light-sensitive samples. View the current temperature on a five-digit orange LED display in either °C or °F.
