Mpox is known to have two distinct clades: Clade I and Clade II. The primers and probes in this kit have been proven to have very high (>99%) homology with all reference data within the NCBI database for both clades, including the new viral strain Clade Ib. This ensures that your laboratory can effectively detect and respond to Mpox, regardless of the strain or clade.
