Cole Parmer SH-200 Series Orbital Shakers

Orbital shakers have a platform moves in a circular motion providing a swirling action ideal for aeration of 16mm. An easy to use controller with timer and LED display and a reliable quiet drive mechanism are available. These shakers can be used in incubators. Flat or cradle platforms available. The large Shaker comes with a cradle system and the mini comes with flat platform and non-slip mat. Digital Speed selection 30 to 300rpm with soft start.

SH-200 Series Reciprocating Shakers
The platform moves aggressively back and forth horizontally making this shaker ideal for applications such as extractions. Linear reciprocating action – 20mm. An easy to use controller with timer and LED display, digital Speed selection 25 to 250rpm with soft start. A reliable quiet drive mechanism which can be used in incubators. The SH-200 Reciprocating Shaker comes complete with fully adjustable cradle system and 4 rubber cushioned horizontal securing bars with quick release handles. This unit holds most sizes flask, bottles, and beakers; 12 x 250mL, 9 x 500mL, 4 x 1000mL, or 2 x 2000mL.

The Cole Parmer SH-200 Microtiter (Microplate) shaker is specifically designed to provide a fast-mixing action in a tight orbit. It features a high-speed vibrational action – 1.5mm and easy to use controller with timer and LED display. Digital Speed selection 250 to 1250rpm with soft start & reliable quiet drive mechanism. Cole Parmer SH-200 Series See-Saw Rockers

See-Saw platform rocks on a central point providing a wave motion, ideal for washing. They are like platform shakers but much less aggressive on the sample. These units feature a gentle rocking action – 7° tilt angle. The come equiped with and easy to use controller with timer and LED display. Digital Speed selection from 5 to 70rpm. Reliable quiet drive mechanism & can be used in incubators. The SH-200 Series See-sae Rockers come complete with flat platform and non-slip mat. An accessory tier system available.

Cole Parmer SH-200 Series – Gyro Rockers

Gyro (3D) - platform moves in a three-dimensional motion around central point gently swirling samples. Ideal for cell culturing, staining and de-staining with a 3D Gyrating action – 3 to 12° tilt angle. The angle of tilt can be adjusted by hand for optimal performance. An easy to use controller with timer and LED display allows for digital Speed selection 5 to 70rpm. A reliable quiet drive mechanism & can be used in incubators. Unit comes complete with flat platform and non-slip mat. Accessory tier system available.

Stuart Shakers 

Stuart Shakers are available with either an orbital action where the platform moves in a circular orbit or a reciprocating linear movement where the platform moves back and forth horizontally. An orbital action provides a swirling action on the sample, ideal for aeration. A linear shaker is more aggressive making it ideal for applications such as extractions. flask shakers apply the movement directly to the sample vessel, rather than via a platform. The sample vessel, typically a flask or bottle, is clamped around the neck and shaken in a pivotal motion. This mimics the type of aggressive shaking action that would be generated when the flask is shaken by hand. For example you could use this piece of equipment during a solvent extraction. The microtitre plate shakers are specifically designed to provide a fast mixing action about a tight obit ideal for mixing microtitre plates. The flask shakers offers a mechanical simulation of hand shaking flasks, for instance during extractions.

 

Stuart Rockers

Stuart Rockers utilize either a see saw action, where the platform rocks on a central point, or a gentler 3D gyratory action where the platform moves in a three dimensional motion about the central point. A see saw action provides a wave motion in the sample, ideal for washing. A 3D gyratory action very gently swirls the sample making it ideal for delicate cell culturing, staining and de-staining procedures etc. In some cases a tier system is available where magnetic platforms can be stacked to increase capacity, without increasing the footprint.
